Introduction
The idea of Akhtar Saeed Medical and Dental College (ASMANDDC) was conceived by Dr Farooq Saeed Khan (Chief Executive Farooq Group of Companies).
It is established with the aim of providing state of the art medical education and produce graduates with highest academic, cognitive and psychomotor skills.

Our vision is to be recognized nationally and internationally for the innovation and excellence in Medical Education, and contributions to advancing standards of clinical practice. Culture of research will be inculcated in both students and teachers of the institute, later on embarking on post graduate medical and nursing education in planned.
Students are considered partners in this goal . They are provided with best teachers , environment and guidance so that they can turn out to be leading professionals of Pakistan.

Akhter Saeed Trust Hospital 350 bedded Medical Hospital affiliated with A.M.D.C.Akhter Saeed Hospital has been registered as a Non-profitable Charitable Organization since 1st July 2000. Pakistan is a developing country where there is a gradual increase in the number of people falling below the poverty line.

Internship for International Students
AMDC is providing clinical internship to international students in its teaching hospitals.
"Very exciting and worthwhile experience. Currently I am working in the psychiatry department. Previously during my internship at Private Clinic in Toronto I was not exposed to the variety of patients which I got to see, interview and help over here", Dr Ayesha Noor from All Saints University, Dominica Islands
Farooq Hospital Celebrates 25 years of Excellence
A beautiful ceremony arranged by Dr Sabir Ayyaz Malik , the CEO of Farooq Hospital, Allama Iqbal branch, took place on last Sunday. It was attended by all the consultants , para medical staff and renowned dignitaries.
Dr Farooq Saeed Khan and Dr Fariha Farooq were the chief guests. Free health insurance, loan service, pension packages and financial support system were part of the good tidings on this auspicious day.
The staff members participated and hard working candidated were acknowledged and awarded shields, certificates along with cash prizes.

AMDC is happy to see that Prof Eice Muhammad has taken the challenge to improve the medical department to an international standard. He has resumed the role of a true leader with a mission to inculcate quality training to the young students

Eye Department held case discussion on 'Thyroid Related Orbitopathies' on April 18th , 2013. Series of cases were discussed followed by expert panel discussion on various medical , surgical , ontological considerations while managing such patients
PMDC approves AMDC to admit 150 students
Pakistan Medical & Dental Council has recommended Akhtar Saeed Medical & Dental College to admit upto 150 students from this year as AMDC has met the criteria laid by them
