Introduction
The idea of Akhtar Saeed Medical and Dental College (ASMANDDC) was conceived by Dr Farooq Saeed Khan (Chief Executive Farooq Group of Companies).
It is established with the aim of providing state of the art medical education and produce graduates with highest academic, cognitive and psychomotor skills.
Our vision
Our vision is to be recognized nationally and internationally for the innovation and excellence in Medical Education, and contributions to advancing standards of clinical practice. Culture of research will be inculcated in both students and teachers of the institute, later on embarking on post graduate medical and nursing education in planned.
Students are considered partners in this goal . They are provided with best teachers , environment and guidance so that they can turn out to be leading professionals of Pakistan.

Akhter Saeed Trust Hospital 350 bedded Medical Hospital affiliated with A.M.D.C.Akhter Saeed Hospital has been registered as a Non-profitable Charitable Organization since 1st July 2000. Pakistan is a developing country where there is a gradual increase in the number of people falling below the poverty line.

Whereas Akhter Saeed Trust is very fortunate to have such dedicated and generous contributors and donors, the undertaking is quite substantial and further contributions are needed. In order to fulfill the existing deficiency of doctors and lack of enough seats for medical students in the government sector an excellent and dedicated endeavor is made in the form of Akhtar Saeed Medical and Dental College. Presently, one doctor for a population of 2,000 and one dental surgeon for a population of 35,000 is available, which is below the recommended ratio of 1: 500 for an MBBS doctor.

Postgraduate Training in Gynaecology & Obstetrics
Akhter Saeed Medical & Dental College has been approved for postgraduate training by College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) .
Admission
For admissions college strictly adheres to rules and regulations laid by University of Health Sciences . All students are selected on merit basis according to their scores . After receiving application students are interviewed by the College Academic Council. There is no written test.
Facilities
Well equipped and latest state of the art lecture theatres, lab facilities. Each lecture theater is fully equipped with multimedia and overhead projectors.
