Message From The Principal

DR.IKRAMUL-HAQ


Dr.Ikramul-Haq is  Ph.D.  in Pharmaceutical Sciences with more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, test/analysis of medicines, regulatory affairs, teaching and research & Development in Pharmaceutical field in Govt. as well as Private Sectors.
He has 6 years of working experience in U.S.A.
Director, Drugs Testing Lab, Secretary, Provincial Quality Control Board, Chief Drug Inspector, Govt. of Punjab and Chairman,  Quality Control Authority Ministry of Health, Govt. of Pakistan, were  some of his appointments while serving with the Public Sector.
He has also had experience of working as Professor of Pharmaceutics and as Dean Faculty of Pharmacy in a Private Sector University.
He has number of Publications to his credit and has honors to be member of many creditable Pharmaceutical Organizations/Associations.

The Campus of Akhtar Saeed College of Pharmaceutical
Sciences is elegant, purpose built, specially designed, fully Air-Conditioned with pleasant academic environment.
It is situated in a scenic and fascinating area on 22 Kanals of land with a panoramic view in Bahria Town, Multan Road,
Lahore. All the labs are very well furnished and fully equipped to meet with the curriculum requirements.

Pharmacy is a high rated profession Nationally/ Internationally.
It is an expending, highly rewarding and dynamic profession offering a wealth of opportunities. While serving the society, a secure Professional Future is reasonably guaranteed with the satisfaction of personal accomplishment.

Many occupations offer  to improve society’s  quality of life, but the profession of Pharmacy involves the preservation of life itself.

Pharmacist is the only resourced person who is in a unique position of exercising complete drug expertise and its application. He plays a vital role in the Health Care System of a country and is an important member of Health Care Team.

Highly Qualified, Experienced and Dedicated Faculty at Akhtar Saeed College of Pharmaceutical Sciences embodies and will deliver World Class Education and Research in Pharmacy with special focus on its applications in manufacturing, quality control of medicines and in Pharmaceutical Care in Hospitals, Medical Centers and Community Pharmacy.

The Faculty embraces a student-centered learning philosophy. As such, students are expected to be active participants in their own learning and faculty is committed to maintaining High-Standards while working with students to achieve their full potential. The knowledge and Skills that are taught – along with the attitude and values that are natured in a program,- will enable students to enter practice as Professionals in a variety of Practice environments.

The heart of the profession of Pharmacy is the Pharmacist’s ability to care for patients. Students will participate in community outreach and service-learning activities to provide the care that is needed to improve the Health of not only individual patients but also the community at large. Additionally, the integration of off – campus, practice experiences throughout the program will allow students to apply and see the relevance of what is taught in the class room.
